News: Swine Flu Rumors Hit Harpenden

Rumors are flying around Harpenden about possible Swine Flu cases hitting the village.

West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust have denied claims there were two confirmed cases of Swine flu at The Elms Medical Practice in Stewart Road, Harpenden.

The outbreak of the H1N1 virus has the potential to become a full pandemic with more than 5,250 confirmed cases in 30 countries, and 61 people dead.

So far there have been 68 confirmed swine flu cases in the UK.
